As the COVID-19 positivity rate in New Jersey continues to remain low, with a vaccination rate that ranks among the highest in the country, we are excited to be adapting our JCC COVID-19 guidelines, albeit cautiously.
As you review our information, please consider that the population of the JCC is a diverse one, including every age and we ask everyone to be considerate of those you come in contact with.
Effective May 28, 2021:
Fully vaccinated members coming to the Milton and Betty Katz JCC are no longer required to wear a mask and the 6 foot distancing requirement is no longer in place. Please note, this does not include the JCC’s Early Childhood Education Center or Camp By The Sea. All members and guests are asked to complete the following Vaccination and Acknowledgment of Katz JCC COVID-19 Mask Requirements. An acknowledgment must be completed for each member of the account. Please complete this agreement for an minor child(ren) on your account:
I certify that I and/or, in my legal capacity as the parent/guardian of the minor I am completing registration for, have received my/their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or my/their single dose of a Johnson & Johnson vaccine. I understand that if I/they have not received my/their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or my/their single dose of a Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than two weeks ago I/they will continue to wear a mask throughout the Katz JCC in accordance with the State of New Jersey Department of Health guidelines. I understand that I/they risk losing my Katz JCC membership if this certification was falsified.
Prior to your next visit to the JCC please have all members on your account complete the Certification of Vaccination and Acknowledgment of Katz JCC COVID-19 Mask Requirements HERE.
We encourage those who are still comfortable wearing their masks and those who are not yet vaccinated to continue to wear masks while exercising and utilizing the entire JCC.
Our enhanced cleaning protocols are still in place. We will continue to follow all OSHA Guidelines associated with the effective disinfecting and sanitizing of all our equipment and high touch areas.
We remain committed to the health and safety of all who come to the JCC and will continue to consult with the New Jersey Department of Health and the Atlantic County Public Health Department regarding our guidelines.
