[Margate, NJ – March 2, 2020]  — The Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center in Margate announces Marg Rosenblatt as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Rosenblatt was chosen by the JCC’s board of directors as the new CEO, beginning August 1, 2020. She will replace the retiring Jack Fox, who has served as CEO for the past 21 years, helping to lead the organization through a $14 million expansion plan of facilities and programs.

“I am honored to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Milton & Betty Katz JCC.  I consider myself fortunate to lead the JCC that serves the community I have called home for many years,” said Rosenblatt. “My focus is to continue with the success that has made our agency a beacon for our community – to gather and to grow, to enrich and to inspire.”

Rosenblatt has served as Chief Operating Officer of the JCC for 10 years, overseeing the addition of the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series, and senior lunch program serving over 1000 older adults.

“We spent the past year conducting a vigorous national search, and we are confident that we have selected the very best person to be our next CEO, Marg Rosenblatt,” said Eric Share, president of the JCC board of directors. “Her background and experience make her the best choice to take the JCC successfully into the future.”

John Rios, MBA the JCC’s current CFO, will add the Chief Operating Officer role to his existing Chief Financial Officer portfolio. Rios has been vital in securing the JCC’s financial future and has significant experience in program management, most recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Children’s Service Center in Wilkes Barre, PA and previously working twelve years as the CFO of AtlantiCare Behavioral Health.

“It has been a pleasure to serve as the JCC’s CEO for all these years. I am confident that the Milton & Betty Katz JCC is in good hands with the leadership of both Margaret Rosenblatt and John Rios. Their qualities and experience provide the JCC with inspirational leaders for today and for our future,” said Jack Fox, CEO.

The JCC began in 1910 and moved to its current Margate location in 1959.  The organization completed a 77,000 square-foot expansion renovation in 2002.
