Give to the Milton & Betty Katz JCC

During these times of uncertainty, the Milton & Betty Katz JCC remains committed to serving our community.

As a non-profit community center, we rely on donations, annual fundraising efforts and events to provide invaluable programs and services to our community, both within and beyond our walls.

Simply stated, we need donations to continue to serve the community at a time where regular program dues have dwindled and fundraising programs and events have stopped due to the COVID – 19 pandemic.

The gifts that you contribute to the Katz JCC support our programs that enhance the lives of people in your community. Even the smallest amount will make an impact on our fundraising goal. Join our team as we invest in our community, provide scholarships and financial aid to members, and encourage healthy living for all ages.

Here is some of the important work that is happening right now:

Supporting Seniors in Our Community: The Katz JCC manages eight Senior Meal Centers for Atlantic County ensuring that 625 meals a week are delivered to participants’ homes.

Continuing to Care for our Youth: Our Early Childhood Education Center has reopened following State and CDC guidelines. Classroom sizes are reduced to ensure student and teacher safety. Extensive cleaning of each classroom is performed daily to ensure students can learn in a safe and sanitized environment.

Older students who participate in virtual or hybrid schools can now enroll in J School Enrichment. Students are working in small groups with adults who can help support them with their time management and some of the academic questions they may have as they complete their online learning through the public/private school they are enrolled in. As students have free time, we will be able to provide fun activities that stretch their minds and bodies throughout our facility.

Health and Wellness: Members of our community have returned to our center to enjoy life enhancing fitness and wellness programs and the trainers from our Fitness Center have been busy creating a library of online fitness class videos to allow members to stay healthy from the comfort and safety of their home.

And the list continues to grow…

We need your help to reach our goal of raising $50,000 to support our community’s needs and build a brighter future.

By donating to the JCC today, you will be ensuring that we can continue to meet our financial obligations, safely provide programming and that we have the ability to care for our community when they need us the most.

Social distancing doesn’t mean that we are alone – stand with the JCC and together we can be a shining light in the face of uncertainty.
