The following guidelines have been established to help ensure the health and safety of our members.
The health of our members is our number one concern. In light of the current pandemic, the Katz JCC has adopted new health guidelines to ensure the well being of our members, staff and the greater community.
Members Must Have Swipe Cards:
To access the fitness center all members MUST have their swipe cards. To reduce contamination, the keypad is no longer available.
NO DAILY GUEST PASSES ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
Members and JCC Staff will complete a health declaration before each visit confirming they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been around someone who is infected.
Please stay home if you are sick or experiencing any health symptoms including mild cold and other symptoms identified by the CDC.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the State of New Jersey has issued an incoming travel advisory that all individuals entering New Jersey should quarantine for 14-days. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation.
Students home from college, or those who have traveled outside of New Jersey are required to quarantine for 14 days prior to their first visit to the Katz JCC.
You will not be permitted to enter the JCC if you have traveled outside the state within 14 days.
Wear A Facemask:
A face mask covering your nose and mouth must be worn at all times including in restrooms and locker rooms.
Members and JCC Staff will have their body temperatures taken upon entry to the JCC. In accordance with CDC guidelines, those with a temperature greater than 100.4 will not be permitted to enter the JCC for 7 days.
Maintain Social Distancing:
Please maintain a minimum of six feet from other members. Members are asked to respect the floor markings and building signage to ensure social distancing practices are being maintained.
The indoor pool will be limited to one swimmer per lane and in order to respect the limited time and demand for the pool lap swimming is limited to 30 minutes.
Locker Room Restrictions:
In accordance with CDC and State Guidelines the Spa areas including sauna, steam room and whirlpool are closed.
