The following guidelines have been established to help ensure the health and safety of our members.
The health of our members is our number one concern. In light of the current pandemic, the Katz JCC has adopted new health guidelines to ensure the well being of our members, staff and the greater community.
NO DAILY GUEST PASSES ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
Members Must Have Swipe Cards
To access the fitness center all members MUST have their swipe cards. To reduce contamination, the keypad is no longer available.
Members and JCC Staff will have their body temperatures taken and complete a series of health questions upon entry, confirming they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been around someone who is infected. In accordance with CDC guidelines, those with a temperature greater than 100.4 will not be permitted to enter the JCC for 7 days.
Please stay home if you are sick or experiencing any health symptoms including mild cold and other symptoms identified by the CDC.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the State of New Jersey has issued an incoming travel advisory that all individuals entering New Jersey should quarantine for 14-days. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation.
You no longer need to quarantine or get tested before/after domestic travel if you are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past three months:
• It has been more than two weeks since you received your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine;
• It has been more than two weeks since your received your first and only dose of the Janssen/Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Wear A Facemask
A face mask covering your nose and mouth must be worn at all times including in restrooms and locker rooms.
Maintain Social Distancing
Please maintain a minimum of six feet from other members. Members are asked to respect the floor markings and building signage to ensure social distancing practices are being maintained.
The indoor pool will be limited to one swimmer per lane and in order to respect the limited time and demand for the pool lap swimming is limited to 30 minutes.
Locker Room Restrictions
In accordance with CDC and State Guidelines the Spa areas including sauna, steam room and whirlpool are closed.
