During these times of uncertainty, the Katz JCC remains committed to serving our community.
As a non-profit community center, we rely on donations, annual fundraising efforts and events to provide invaluable programs and services to our community, both within and beyond our walls.
Simply stated, we need donations to continue to serve the community at a time where regular program dues have come to a halt due to the COVID – 19 pandemic .
Here is some of the important work that is happening right now:
• Supporting Seniors in Our Community: The Katz JCC manages eight Senior Meal Centers for Atlantic County ensuring that 625 meals a week are delivered to participants’ homes.
• Continuing to Care for our Youth: Our Early Childhood Education Center teachers have been providing “digital classrooms” for students in the program to continue learning from home.
• Virtual Fitness: The trainers from our Fitness Center have been busy creating a library of online fitness class videos and LIVE facebook exercise classes to allow members to stay healthy from the comfort and safety of their home.
• Looking Ahead to Summer: Planning for life after lockdown is happening with Camp By The Sea summer camp. Senior staff members are working with local and state officials to determine what new rules may be in place once restrictions are lifted.
And the list continues to grow…
By donating to the JCC today, you will be ensuring that we can continue to meet our financial obligations and provide virtual programming and that we have the ability to care for our community when they need us the most.
Social distancing doesn’t mean that we are alone – stand with the JCC and together we can be a shining light in the face of uncertainty.
Thank you for helping to keep Milton & Betty Katz JCC strong!
