TRAINER ORIENTATION Every new JCC member receives one free hour of
personal training with a certified trainer, designed to
evaluate his/her goals, match the goals with a program
utilizing our state-of-the-art equipment, and then work
through a rotation with the member.

KETTLEBELL TRAINING
November 7 through December 12 Are you interested in burning fat, building muscle, or increasing strength and stamina? Then kettlebell training
is a fit for you. If not, then stay on the couch and keep watching four hours of TV every day while life passes you by. This old-school piece of equipment is a throwback to the dawn of strength training; many of you may not be familiar with it. After a brief introduction to its physique-building values, we feel confident you'll soon give kettlebells-style training a try.

GOLF TRAINING SPECIALIST The Katz JCC now has a certified male and female golf
training specialist. Work on your flexibility, eye/hand
coordination, balance, and core to find a remarkable
improvement in your game.

What is Personal Training? A one-on-one training session with a certified JCC trainer is not a standardized workout. It is a program designed to meet your
individual goals and fitness level. Each session is an hour long, focusing just on YOU. Your trainer will provide the latest training tips, exercise physiology, and advice on proper nutrition to achieve your goals.

HOW DO I GET STARTED? Your first step is condition

An interview to determine your personal goals - wellness profile - lifestyle profile. Then, your trainer will design a program to meet your specific goals and closely monitor your progress
through scheduled training sessions, which will include:

STEPS TO LIVING WELL Sessions Beginning Weds. Oct. 7, 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM,
FREE of charge. The participants learn strategies for managing symptoms, working with health care professionals,
setting weekly goals, problem-solving, relaxing, handling difficult emotions, eating well, and exercising safely and easily.
The Chronic Disease Self-Management program was designed to reduce the impact chronic conditions can have on people's lives and encourage a positive approach to self-management. It is designed to
complement, not replace, professional health care services. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
