Lisa Gajdzis, Performing Arts Director
Lisa has a BA in theater and music education and has been performing
all over the east coast for the past 20 years. Lisa is a licensed Kindermusik
educator, and also director of the JCC Arts Camp. Her directing credits
include: Birdbath, Are We There Yet?, A Disney Revue, Noises Off,
Music Man Jr., Schoolhouse Rock, Jr., The Magic In Me, Character
Matters and many others.

If you are interested in any aspect of the arts, whether it is performing
or visual, this is the camp for you!

Acting 101: Ages 16-Adult
Have you always wanted to try acting or would like to improve your skills? Then this class is for you! Acting 101 is a workshop-style class for people who have had little or no acting training. It is designed to introduce the student to theatre, and the basic principles of acting for the stage and/or screen. Topics covered will include: theatre terminology, movement on the stage, Method Acting (and other schools of acting), creative improvisation, pantomime, script analysis, basic audition techniques, overcoming stage fright, vocal control, general character development, taking direction, and building confidence. The class will have a relaxed atmosphere, and comes with a 100% laughter/fun guarantee!
$30 Member, $45 Non-Member Classes run for six weeks

Ballroom Dance Instruction with Michele Caprio
Instructor Michele Caprio received most of her training from instructor and partner Brian Fortuna, who recently went on to compete on the hit ABC shoe “Dancing with the Stars”. Knowing that Brian is destined for stardom, Michele has decided to take all her knowledge and share it with others! She has been competitively in the Delaware Valley area since 2001.
*Classes run on a continuously in six week cycles except for private sessions
BALLROOM DANCE
This six week class will span across many eras of dance. We will learn the elegant waltz, the light hearted rumba and more.

LATIN DANCE
Whether it’s a sassy salsa or seductive meringue, Michele will inject fun into your Tuesday nights. No dancing experience is necessary.

Whether it’s the sexy Salsa, the sassy Cha-cha or the seductive Merengue, Michele knows that teaching a simple dance lesson for a wedding or private party is a great way to inject some

Creatures at the Ocean - ages 1 ˝ to 4 years Tuesdays @ 10:30am
Sing sailor songs and make the ocean count. "Five little seashells lying on the shore: Swish! Went the waves and then there were four." Make homemade kites and your own fish sandwiches using fish-shaped bread and P.B. and J.
At Home Materials include: Five full-color picture folders each depicting a different theme, Story Cards, Home CD, and a pair of Seashell Castanets.

New! Busy Days- ages newborn to 18 months Wednesday @10:30am
Using all the places you go with your baby as a theme, we'll expand your repertoire of on-the-go, attention-getting songs, and rhymes to grow with you both. Each lesson features new activities and songs you can sing this summer—at the store, the playground, the doctor, and more. At Home Materials include: Hardcover book, a wooden rolly cage-bell, CD features a slip-in, slip-out lyric book inside the case, and a home activities poster.
