We will examine the holiday of Tish B’Av. The holiday primarily commemorates the destruction of the first and second Temples both of which were destroyed on the ninth of Av. This class is free and open to the entire community.

AARP 55 ALIVE – DRIVER SAFETY COURSE
Coming in Late August

This is the nation's first and largest classroom driver improvement course specially designed for motorists age 50 and older. It is intended to help older drivers improve their skills while teaching them to avoid accidents and traffic violations. Upon completing the two day, 8-hour AARP 55 ALIVE/Mature Driving course, you receive a course completion certificate which may then be presented to your insurance agent. Depending on your insurance company's policies, you may be eligible for an automobile insurance premium reduction or discount. The cost is $10. Checks must be payable to AARP. Spaces are limited to the first 30 paid registrants.

Rinata Salzman, Margate’s “Mahjong Maven” will be offering five week introductory classes throughout the summer months. No experience or knowledge of Mahjong is necessary and a set will be provided for the duration of the class. The cost is $70 M / $90 NM.

Join us on the beach for the first annual Tzofim Concert and Community Beach Kabbalat Shabbat. The Tzofim Friendship Caravan is part of the delegation sent to North America to represent the State of Israel every summer. These Friendship Caravans have a delightful ability to introduce Israeli culture and folklore in performances that include songs in Hebrew, English and Yiddish, exposing audiences to the vast cultural diversity in Israel. This event is free and open to the entire community!

BISHARA NADAF: MIDDLE EASTERN DRUMMING WORKSHOP & CONCERT

Bishara Naddaf, a Christian Arab from Nazareth, is the charismatic percussionist of the Arab-Jewish Ensemble in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He performs across Israel delivering a musical message of hope for peace between the Arab and Jewish Israeli populations. He is a consultant to the Israel Ministry of Education in the field of training music teachers. Bishara has performed in over 20 countries and his television appearances have included broadcasts across the Middle East and a concert at Carnegie Hall.

Sheldon has an undeniable appeal to youth and families, not only as a musician, but also as a Jewish educator, entertainer, and role model. A concert with Sheldon is truly a magical experience with a lot of interactive songs and dancing in the aisles! This musical event is part of the Camp By The Sea experience, but will be open to the public at an additional cost.

Kislak is a beautiful and easily accessible site located
in Lake Como, PA, the heart of the Poconos. It is staffed by a warm, caring international crew that tends to our guests’ every need. Kislak offers unique programs, activities and Special Events as well as interesting lectures and speakers. The Kislak Center is operated by the NJ YMHA-YWHA, a professional, not-for-profit organization which has served the Jewish Community since 1920.
The Center caters to Jewish single adults and couples age 55 and over, offering a unique vacation experience with a full range of activities.
