Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy

The Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy at the Milton & Betty Katz JCC teaches excellence one stroke at a time with a comprehensive and result-driven swim method and survival curriculum that stresses water safety and an award system that engages and motivates children providing an environment where swimming is respected, healthy and fun.

The year-round program starts with students as young as three months old with a variety of lesson options for infants, children and adults.

Lenny Krayzelburg is an American backstroke swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and former world record holder. He swam in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics and won a total of four gold medals.

Supported and designed by Lenny Krayzelburg, the core purpose of this swim method is to teach and inspire water safety and to increase self-confidence and independence through the uniquely developed SwimRight Method™.

We strive to teach water safety and water awareness to all swimmers as well as the proper stroke techniques. We offer Private, Group and Parent-Tot classes. Our highly qualified instructors have been trained through the SwimRight Method™. Group lessons are for swimmers ages three and up. Private lessons are offered for children, adults and special needs. Before registration, sign up for a FREE evaluation that will allow you to assess our program while we test for the appropriate skill level.

My experience with the Lenny Krazelburg Swim Academy at the Katz JCC has been amazing! My daughter has taken lessons in other programs, but with the Lenny K. Swim Academy, I have been able to see her skills progress.  I am not at all knowledgeable in the sport, so as I watch the lessons, I am amazed to see how the instructor teaches and interacts with her.  She loves coming to the pool and so do I knowing she will receive great lessons.

I am amazed with my children’s success with this program. They are learning faster than I could have imagined.  The one-on-one personal attention they receive from the instructor is what helps them progress quickly. I am appreciative of the hard work by the instructors.
