En route to the hotel, enjoy a guided orientation tour of Cape Town; a truly stunning
city sheltered beneath the dramatic shape of Table Mountain. Arrive at your hotel
located near the lively V&A Waterfront. An orientation will be held this evening.

Explore Cape Town
Wednesday, September 26
Our tour will lead you on a sightseeing tour to explore the charms of the
Cape Town and see many of the city highlights. Ride by cable car to the top of
Table Mountain for glorious city and bay views. Descend and travel through
the Malay Quarter and the city center for a chance to view and photograph
impressive Table Mountain from a distance. The afternoon is at leisure to
explore on your own or visit the many important museums, monuments or
the enjoy the wonders of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Thursday, September 27
Today you will discover Cape Town’s exciting V&A Waterfront, the city’s
focal point where you can easily stroll around and browse the craft and art
shops, enjoy world class dining and sample South Africa’s renowned wines.
The group will also have the opportunity to visit The Jewish Museum and
and South African synagogues to understand how modern South Africans
incorporate Judaism into their unique culture.

Stellenbosch Day Trip
Friday, September 28
Enjoy a special visit to the culturally and historically significant Stellenbosch,
a quaint town in the heart of this scenic region filled with wineries. Walk
through the town and explore the impressive Cape Dutch architecture. Your
next stop is at a wine estate where you’ll attend a wine tasting session, have
an opportunity to explore the grounds and gardens and purchase local wine.
The afternoon is spent at your leisure to explore more of Cape Town or join
the group for Shabbat at one of Cape Town’s many synagogues.

Cape Town/Kruger National Park
Saturday, September 29
This morning we will board a short flight to Johannesburg, South Africa’s
vibrant commercial and diamond mining center. From here, we journey through
the beautiful countryside to the picturesque town of Machadadorp where
you’ll see the beautiful Elands River. Descend into the Lowveld area in the
province of Mpumalanga (“place of the rising sun”) that enjoys sub-tropical
climate, abundant sunshine and lush covered hills and valleys where citrus
groves and tropical fruit orchards abound. Here you may stop at some of
the colorful roadside stands where local merchants offer exotic fruits and
nuts. Arrive at your upscale hotel, ideally situated on the outskirts of White
River, minutes from renowned Kruger National Park. A sumptuous dinner
at your hotel is included this evening.

Kruger National Park Safari
Sunday, September 30
Today is devoted to exhilarating and unforgettable game drives to
discover Kruger Park’s abundant wildlife. A local safari ranger leads you
on a morning game drive in open vehicles in search of the parks many
residents, including the “Big Five”; lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos and
leopards. You may also spot hippopotamus’s, crocodiles, zebras and
giraffes. Plains game and bird life are also abound. After a break for
lunch, continue your thrilling exploration with an additional afternoon
guided open-vehicle safari. Later, return to your hotel where you may
relax poolside before enjoying a lavish dinner.
Kruger Park | Mpumalanga | Depart South Africa
Monday, October 1
Depart the Kruger Park area and arrive in Sabie, a small rural town nestled in a
deep valley on the escarpment of the Drakensberg mountain range. Proceed to
the town of Lydenburg, situated at the foothills of the famous Long Tom Pass
and surrounded by the Steenkampsberg and Mauchsberg mountain ranges, the
highest points in Mpumalanga. From here continue your drive to Johannesburg
Airport where you’ll board your return flight home.
