Expanded FREE Computer Classes
The Milton & Betty Katz JCC is continuing to offer active adults (60+) free computer classes beginning Tuesday, January 12.
Intermediate Class: January 12 – February 25
The initial seven-week class is designed for Intermediate computer users who may have questions or need instruction on how to better use the computer, as well as electronic devices to better access information and improve communication. The class will help users become accustomed to the uses of social media and hand-held devices, such as smart phones and tablets. The class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM through Thursday, February 25.
Beginner Class: March 8 – March 31
The JCC will also be offering a Beginner computer class designed as an introduction to computers and their functions. This four-week class is hands-on with an emphasis on topics including Computer Fundamentals (mouse and keyboard skills and functions), the Internet, Searching the Web, Email and much more! The Beginner class will begin on Tuesday, March 8 and run every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM through March 31.
Intermediate Class: April 12 – May 26
Once completing the Beginner computer class, the JCC will offer another Intermediate class beginning Tuesday, April 12 and meet for seven weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM through Thursday, May 26.
