  MAHJONG EVENTS
  Mahjong Brunches
  Wednesday, Jan. 27
  Friday, March 19
  Wednesday, April 28
   There will be a huge feast of bagels, lox and many delicious
   spreads and salads! Schmooze with other players and have    the opportunity to win fantastic raffle prizes! Mahjong    Brunches begin at 10:30 AM. The early bird cost is $8 M /    $12 NM up to one week before the brunch, then the price    increases to $12 M / $18 NM.

  JCC Mahjong Classes
  Class One: Wednesday Mornings,
  Feb. 3 – March 10, 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  Class Two: Thursday Afternoons,
  Feb. 18 – April 1, 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  Class Three: Wednesday Mornings,
  March 24 - April 28, 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  Class Four: Thursday Afternoons,
  April 22 – May 27, 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  Rinata Salzman will explain all the tiles, the basic moves and
  strategies to win! No Mahjong experience or knowledge is
  required and a practice Mahjong set will be provided for the
  duration of this class. The cost is $75 M / $100 NM.

  The Katz JCC First Annual
  Mahjong Tournament, Tuesday, June 1
  The Katz JCC will host its first Mahjong Tournament featuring
  great cash prizes and a delicious kosher brunch buffet. The   cost is $35 M / $50 NM and includes a breakfast brunch   spread. First Prize $250, Second Prize $150, Third Prize $100.

JCC Elegant Evenings of Dinner & Dancing
Thursday, February 4
Thursday, April 15
The JCC will host another elegant evening of delicious kosher
food, hors d'oeuvres, wonderful ambiance and great music from
the 40’s and 50’s to dance the night away. Reservations are
required. Spaces are limited. The cost is $12 M / $15 NM up to
one week before the event and $15 M / $18 NM afterwards. The
cost includes a complimentary glass of wine.

Class One: Six Weeks, January 18 – Feb. 22,
7:00 PM – 7:45 pm
Class Two: Six Weeks, March 15 – April 26,
(no class on erev Passover, March 29)

Be confident when you get out on the dance floor at the next event you go to, and while you’re having fun, you’ll be dancing away those calories too! Couples and singles are welcome!
Participants will learn the elegant Waltz, the light hearted
Rhumba and more!

Latin Dance Classes
Class One: Six Weeks, January 18 – Feb. 22,
7:45 PM – 8:30 PM
Class Two: Six Weeks, March 15 – April 26,
(no class on Erev Passover, March 29) 7:45 PM – 8:30 PM
Instructor Michelle Caprio will teach you how to put some latin spice in your step while learning popular dances such as the sassy salsa or the seductive meringue. No dance experience is necessary and open to couples and singles.
