We are excited about new developments in our aquatics instruction and competitive swim programs this summer. We are now offering a full spectrum
of swim classes and programs for children six months old through adults. Our individualized program offers a whole host of educational swim instruction and coaching by a talented and accredited staff, including:
• Robert Abbamondi - Robert, our Aquatics and Recreation Director, has 15 years of swim teaching experience including serving as a coach and teacher at
the George L. Hess Education Complex. He was the Southern New Jersey Regional Water Safety Supervisor for the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry and has a very clear philosophy on providing children and adults with a safe Aquatics experience that is individualized for their needs.
• Susan Morrison - Susan is a master swimmer from New York. She moved
to South Jersey in 2000 and has been Head Coach of the JCC Sharks swim team since 2004. She is a Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor and coach.
Susan continues to train in swimming and triathlons.
• Maureen Richmond - Maureen is currently Head Coach of the Mainland
Mariners Swim Team. She is Red Cross certified as a Water Safety Instructor,
and Safety Training for Swim Coaches. She is a USA Swimming Certified Coach since 2004 certified in the areas of Foundations of Coaching, Stroke School and Physiology School, she is also an ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association Level 2) Maureen has a lifetime experience in swimming and is a competitive
in open water swimmer, having won 1st Place in the Female 40+ category.
While we have all appreciated Cindy Hess and the Plymouth Landing Swim School's program over the years, we know that you will continue to enjoy the
Katz JCC Pool and Aquatics program with these new changes. Our qualified staff and friendly JCC environment will continue to provide you and your children
with a safe, fun aquatics experience.
Our program begins on June 9, 2008. Please complete the downloadable
PDF form and return it to the JCC by May 23, 2008. SIGN UP BY MAY 23
AND TAKE $20 OFF.
